I bought a ps2 about 12 months ago and I also bought guitar hero package, with the game and a wireless guitar. I now have a ps3 which I bought at the end of last year and I was wondering if I can use the wireless guitar on the ps3. I don’t want to buy the game for the ps3 until I know if I can use the guitar

well if you have a ps3 now i can’t see why you cant just plug it in an try it your self but i do know that the new guitar hero 5 guitar works on ps3 an ps2 you didn’t say what game you had but i hope that helps
Its not worth the effort…you would have to either buy a ps2-usb converter, extremely rare, or splice the wires yourself, very difficult if you dont know what you are doing…but then theres no gaurantee that the ps3 would recognize it. Just buy a new guitar hero controller.
