I’m thinking of taking Drama, Fine Art, German, and Music and A-Level, but I don’t know whether I should take Philosophy and Ethics instead of Music to broaden my subject choices – I read on the guardian website that universities liked Philosophy, modern languages, and Music at A-level but not art and drama, so I’m not sure what to do. I already have guitar and singing lessons and I’m studying for grade 5 guitar, plus I’m in a band outside of school, so I wouldn’t lose my connection to music at all, so I’m not entirely sure what to do, especially as I have no specific career choice planned for the future! All I know is that I want to do someone arts-related. Any help?
I did music, drama, fine art, and german for GCSE!

I did philosophy and ethics for GCSE. It all depends on what you want to do in the future.
Did you do music for GCSE? If so, maybe you should do philosophy.
I think you should do philosophy if your really sure about it and staying connected outside school. I know I’ll find it hard to do that so I’ve picked performing arts.
If you’re sure there’s nothing else to learn from music, then go for philosophy

    Good luck
