So i want to get a new game to play on either xbox or ps3 but im not sure what to get, here are the kinds of games i like to play:
Mirrors Edge
GTA
Red Dead Redemption
Test drive unlimited
Tomb Raider: Underworld
Guitar Hero
Looking at the list i guess i like any sort of game *haha
* So if you could suggest a game that i might like to play that would be great, Thanks
P.S i was looking at getting sims 3 for xbox.. anyone know if its worth buying?
sims 3 is immense, cant beat it in my opinion
if you have parties or have friends round on a regular basis then i would look at games like guitar hero which involve people, then i would get a game like that, but if you are looking to just play by yourslef, then i find that puzzle or mystery or action game (like lara croft for example) where you have a log and have to work your ways through the levels is very enjoyable
The games that you have listed usually involve some free roaming aspect. For this I reccomend the assassins creed games as they have the right amount of free roaming and have missions that are fun and compelled to the story. Sims 3 is a good game but make sure that you will enjoy it before buying
If you like Tomb Raider Underworld try Uncharted or Assassins Creed. For games similar to GTA there is Saints Row. For driving there is Gran Turismo 5
I dont like the sims anymore. Its not as good as it was. Uncharted 2 is like tomb raider but much better so i would reccomend that. Also well done for picking mirros edge. i love that game. im the only person i know who has platinumed it.
*call of duty black ops
I see Assassin’s Creed is missing from that list. It’s a great game. If you want a taste of what it’s like i’ve got gameplay footage here:

Right now it’s really cheap for either system but I suggest Xbox because the developer had some difficulty with the PS3 system (not a fan boy but actual words spoken by the developer, Ubisoft). By the time your done with that you can buy Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. It follows the same character but in a different city, Rome. It’s fun and it helps to fill in the gaps ACII left behind at the end. Here’s a trailer for it:

I would also suggest the Uncharted Series, because although it’s not as “free-roaming” as GTA or Assassin’s Creed, it’s a really great game. Here’s a video up the up an coming one Uncharted 3:

Hope this helps.
Assassin’s Creed II/Brotherhood are both great games, AC:II game of the year edition can be picked up for around £9.99 now..
the most recent game I’ve purchased it Dragon Age: Origins, I got the Ultimate Edition from Amazon for only £17.99. it also includes all the DLC (which is worth around 5000 microsoft points – about £45 alone!)
