What’s better: PS2, Xbox 360 or PS3?

I’m highly overdue for a new gaming console as I still own and PLAY my PS1 lol.

I’m planning on asking my parents for either a PS2, Xbox 360 or PS3.

I’m pretty attached to PS2 having played that whereas I didn’t like the Xbox original. I haven’t played 360 or PS3 but I’ve read some bad reviews of PS3.

What really concerns me is:
a) the price
b) the range of games on it
c) graphics/sound
d) easy use

In that order really.

The type of games I like are Strategy/Simulation really as well as a few others. Games I was thinking of getting is TRU (Tomb Raider Underword) GH4 (Guitar Hero World Tour) and Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. I’m pretty sure that Fahrenheit/IP only came out on PS2 and Xbox/360.

I’ve more or less decided I want a PS2 (unless you can convince me otherwise) but my main question is can you recommend it over the others and will future games keep coming out on PS2 for a few years?

I hope that made sense lol.

My head is spinning!

I have been looking on the net for ages and I still can’t work out which one to get! He is not a hard-core gamer but likes Rock Band, Guitar Hero and really wants the new F1 game. Other than that, I wouldn’t mind having the new Kinect for it but I can buy that later on.

I know there is the 250GB one which is really a bit to expensive. But I’ve heard that the new 4GB one will not have enough storage?
I’ve seen some 120GB Elite ones on game.co.uk, apart from the storage space, what’s the difference between this one and the 250GB?
Thanks for all your answers so far – so what is the difference between the 250GB xbox and the 120GB Elite (apart from the storage space)?

if i buy a Ps3 from outside of europe, i know that it will work with PAL games however does it work with other things such as the wireless guitar for guitar hero and normal sony controllers from UK? thanks

Follow the text on the screen so you will always know what key you are in and what scales you should be using in your improvisation. So, I’ve been talking to this guy since the beginning of January. We bonded over some family problems he had, where he confided in me… and since then, we’ve confided in each other about everything – we talk on the phone pretty much every night, for about 3 hours each night, and we text all day, every day.

He said to me “you know I love you!” after I said he’d called me mean! (it was a joke). He’s offered to teach me how to play guitar (and gives me lessons over the phone!), he sends me music ‘dedicated to me’ (he sent me ‘lean on me’… beautiful.) And today… he sent me a piece of music he composed for me (that he wrote himself, then played on his guitar, recorded and called it ‘Mari’s song).

He asked me to go on holiday with him, too, when he’d originally said he was going on his own. He talked about somebody abandoning him… I told him he was stuck with me and he replied with “i like… being stuck with you”. He was listening to a song and the lyrics were ‘something deep inside’ and he sent me a text saying “… yes… there’s something deep inside… x”

Not only that, he was reading out loud on the phone from his book of sonnets. He then read out ‘Sonnet 18′. I said “it sounds beautiful when you actually read it out to someone… and mean it”. And he then read it out again… slower and more beautiful. (‘Shall I compare thee to a summers day? Thou art more beautiful’ that one).

What do you think? This is just an outline of course… but I think I’m in love with him. :) Does he love me, too?
Intense how please? Can you explain? :)

For the christmas assembly at our school me and 3 other friends are going to perform 3 of the Beatles songs. i will be singing and strumming along and the other 3 will be on drums and guitar.

What method can i use to remember the songs word perfect?

I am a big beatles fan and know most of the words vaguely but not perfect.
When i sang last year i sang Let It Be and i kept stumbling and forgetting some of my words so i dont want that to happen again.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hey,

I was looking into Condensor Microphones and i’m not really sure which one to buy, as stated in the question the main things i will be recording are Vocals/Acoustic Guitar and for Miking a Guitar amp.

My budget is around 150 pounds and currently I have my eye on one of the following:

AKG Perception 220 (Around £130)

SE 2200a (Around £160)

Rode NT1a (Around £145)

MXL 990 (Around £85)

I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with any/a few/all of the above microphones and can offer some advice on what would be best/ what not to get. Or if anyone has any other condensor microphones for around that price range that they might recommend.

Any help is greatly appreciated =)

Guitar Lessons: Instrument Help Please?

I had lessons for the clarinet and after a year gave up, ive started the bass guitar but not taking lessons, im wondering whether i should carry on with the bass guitar or choose a different instrument, are there any instruments that are easy to play but not really simple (triangle etc) i was thinking maybe a ukulele. i go to a music specialist school and ive taken music for GCSE so i should really be able to play an instrument, any ideas? :)
btw my mum said that i cant keep changing instrument because im wasting time and money so this next one needs to be a good choice

iv been practising guitar for about 6 months now and im used to all the normal standard chords but i really can not do barre chords? i cant get my finger to barre it properly, i cant get enough pressure on it. and my wrist hurts when i keep trying to do them. is there an easier way to learn how to do them properly? or are my hands just not able to do those type of chords?

I think I’m the first person in the world that fully comboes this song on X360, at least judging from the leaderboards. Nice :) . This is currently the number 1 score in the world.

i currently own a xbox 360 and its my birthday in 10days….. before now i had my mind set on buying a ps3, because lets be honest there better. but right now im not so sure. i could sell my xbox to a m8 and buy a ps3 which i have a good deal on. with the ps3 i could get:
