Best Acoustic Guitar: Electronic Drums + Electro Acoustic Guitar = What Amp?

Hi there
I have an electro acoustic guitar, my partner has a DTExpress III electronic drum kit and we want to be able to jam together (through headphones). What kind of amp do i need to get so that we can plug the electronic drum kit into, and the guitar so that the the two sounds come out the same source?
Does that make sense?
Ps: on a budget – because the drums cost a fortune!
Thanks for the info Daniel! Very helpful, tell me, the first one, the mixer – does it just connect directly to the drums and the guitar or do you need an amp or something too?
Apparently with a keyboard amp you still need a mixer?

any other straight up answer on what can be used to allow an electronic drumkit and an electric guitar to play out of the same source?

I need to find something to do in my spare time. Preferably something done alone or as a small group (2 or 3),and something that doesn’t involve computers or videogames (my dad’s orders..).

I’m 15 and enjoy media and the like, games (videogames and other types), puzzles (not jigsaws – rubik’s cube and stuff like that), and computing (though that isn’t the sort of thing I want).

Any ideas welcome!

Another note, I’m not going to take up a musical instrument. I already play guitar and a bit of piano.

Guitar Chords: B Minor Guitar Chord Help?

This is the only barre chord I’ve come across so far and I’m having trouble. How are you meant to place your finger on the second fret as if I put it flat down then the high E string is always muted, no matter how hard I try, so is there a better technique and a way to help me build strength up as I seem to be using my thumb a lot to push the e string into my finger but it’s still muted?

Guitar Hero Games: Wii Problems Help Please! And Wii Not Wee :P?

Basically whenever I turn on my wii it works for about a minute while making weird noises and then it ends “blah blah eject and restart.”
but it always does that and has for months i’ve tried cleaning the CD to damn screaming at it..
sometimes games work e.g guitar hero and sometimes I start playing then it comes up with “Please eject blah blah switch off and on!”

What should I do?
pleeeeeeeeeeeaseee help such a waste of money!

Its my bf’s coming up and i really cant think of what to get him. I know i should have a better idea than any of you, but please give me some suggestions.

He has a phone, ipod, an ipod dockin station, a wii, PS3, lots of games for them eg guitar hero etc, all the clothes he could need, a watch, a guitar, a car and all accessories he’d need for it… you name it,he has it! And i can never think of what to get him, i always get somethig silly.

For a change i’d like to buy him one big thing instead of silly things.. something around 100-200pounds.

Also, we’re going to loads of concerts so i dont really want to get him a ticket for an event. He’s also had a few “experience days” eg paintballing and rally driving, so nothing like that.

He likes building things and likes cars so i thought of maybe a “build your own car model” but theyre all quite small and flimsy, i’d need something that would take ages to build and really challenges him.

Any ideas? Thanks
