I play guitar and piano… i was on my guitar and things come to my mind so then i play it by sound… this one AC/DC song came to my mind from being a fan of Iron Man – i think that’s where i heard it from…

so I’ve just started learning guitar, so to be sure, i played the song by ear on the piano and here are the notes….

Hello, i am a 21-year-old man, i am black and i live in France. I would like to become a recording studio bass guitar player. (a bass guitar player who works in a recording studio) I am searching for a bass guitar player who could teach me how to play. I am searching for a “bass guitar mentor so to speak”. I am seeking one in London and the rest of England. I understand english but i think that learning the music language (the notes, etc…..) in french may be better as french is my mother tongue so i am searching for a bass player hich knows french music language. I AM NOT searching for someone with a french language degree, all i am searching for is someone who knows the french music language. I have to search for accomodation in england and find a job there as well so if you can help me with that as well, do not hesitate.

I have played the classical guitar for a lot of years and have decided that I want to try another instrument, the piano. Since the guitar needs for the left and right hand to work well together, I assumed I could take these skills to the piano. But I am finding it very hard, particularly the sections where I have to play piano chords as I can’t distinguish quickly the different notes on the piano (which was less of a problem in my mind when playing a guitar).
could anyone suggest any tips that may help me practise better and get to grips with the piano?

i want to play a song using the piano & guitar. i play piano and my friend plays guitar. we’ve played songs before together just for fun. but it was mainly songs meant for guitar and id just play in tune. or they were meant for piano and he would play the same notes etc.

but im looking for something where maybe the artist has these instruments in the band and we can copy the solo’s etc.play the whole song with both instruments but we would have are own notes. something rocky but not like hardcore screamo or anything. we were playing daft punk which sounded quite good especially with the solo’s. just looking for some new ideas. anybody no any songs?

Hi my name is Slava and I have a little problem with figuring out what to do here.!
I am from the Eastern Europe where I went to Music School for 7 year, play violin. I learned everything including music theory in Russian with Italian note names like: Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si and when I moved to US 5 years ago I am trying to learn guitar right now and I find it very difficult to get used to new English notes like CDEFBA. What would you recommend in this situation would be best to do: to stick to my original do re mi fa so system or start all over with CDE and english theory. All I am trying to do just to learn playing guitar as amateur.

Now I don’t understand why because I though repeating actions only *strengthen* the pathways in the brain, not create new pathways?
