I do a bit of amdram, and have found that if I mix my words up a bit, but retain the jist, no-one notices.
Same with playing a guitar or keyboard on stage
Bum notes go unrecognised, as long as you just crack on
So, are folks looking for mistakes, or are happily entertained regardless ?

and now im confused a little as to what the difference is between major and minor 3rds? Why and how do these two make a major chord and a minor chord?
Im extremely new to music theory so anytips would be really welcome? Also any direction to a good webste to explain it to a dufus? (me)
I want to become a better guitar player and im sure that learning some theory would help that and i cannot afford a lesson
Thanks for your answer whisky man but that last bit was even to complex for me to understand. I really need this put into basic laymans terms. Im sure once i get the basic concept i will laugh at how long it took me to grasp it but thats the future. At the moment im really struggling with this.

Is it possible to play guitar hero 2 tracks downloaded from xbox live to play on guitar hero 3.
This may be the vaguest description ever, but I remember a scrubs song that plays at an emotional music in the show, it was a song where, you could hear an acoustic guitar being played, and the singer sang a high pitched “Ooooh, lalalala”, as in, literally that, but I cannot for the life of me remember it, sorry it’s so vague, but that’s all I remember.

Eisteddfod is a welsh kinda concert i need a good slow solo 
I was in a music store recently and I was looking at sheet music for the guitar. There was a book which had a black leather cover and inside was how to play the best guitar songs ever made. I tried to look at it on the internet but I couldn’t remember the name. Does anyone know it? 
Price range is around £150-£200. Throw some decent brands at me.

how hard would you say it is to play that solo on the Bon Jovi song Wanted Dead or Alive, i’ve got the intro part down on guitar but i am not even sure if i want to learn it if it is gonna be hard, i can do that fast part down at the bottom of the fingerboard but not sure about the rest? How hard or easy do you think it would be for someone who has been playing a year (self-taught)

I have purchased, downloaded and installed No Doubt Track pack on my US PS3, I have a US copy of Guitar Hero III but possibly using the Europe playstation store as i registered console and details in UK as I live in the UK. After installing has finished I can’t seem to find Add-on anywhere on my console, should it be in game data, or save data utilty with the date I downloaded it? I have dowloaded demos and trailers fine in the past. Therefore it doesn’t appear in downloaded songs menu within the GH III game. Please help.

Wood Songs Engless Road
I have been playing the guitar for a long time now, and have started to get into ukuleles, because i personally think they sound better and are maybe a bit easier to play. I would like to be able to play Jason Mraz songs, and some pop songs, and I know there are different types of ukulele. I am thinking which one to get and what the difference is between them? I have never had one before, and don’t want a really expensive one. I would like a quite cheap one, and then if I start to enjoy playing it, I can upgrade to a better one later on. I’m just wondering what the different types are and what the difference is in the sound, strings, etc? I would like to be able to play this song too, anyone know what uke he is using?
and from the different types, can it limit what kind of songs i can play, or can i just play any and it wo’nt make a difference? I’d most likely order it online, so yeahh. I’ll buy it from a reputable place, not some dodgy ebay or something, just to let you know.

I’m still new to music theory so I don’t know the trick to putting a bass line to chords.
Say the chords were ‘D G and A’. How would you go about adding a bass line that wasn’t a carbon copy of what the electric guitar was doing?
Okay, so I know that Alexi Murdoch falls into the category of folk/rock/pop/alternative – depends on who you ask. Yet his song, from the album ‘Time without Consequence’, called ’12′ sounds different to his other stuff.
I was wondering if anybody knows (if this was a stand-alone track by a different artist) whether this would go under a particular genre. For example I have heard that power ballads, post-rock etc. are supposed to have this form of guitar solo (limited vocals) and epic feel to them but much of what I have looked for hasn’t had the same sort of feel to it.
It would be great if anybody knows what genre this may class as, and even better if you could point me to any specific bands/artists or songs that have this sound/feel.
