Hi, as the title persists, I put guitar hero in the ps3, the menu dissapears as per usual, but the game doesn’t load, the screen just goes black. This game is brand new, I just got home from buying it from a retail shop… Black ops seems to work but not guitar hero, dunno what’s up… 
any help would be awesome

My 18th Birthday is coming up soon and I may want a party or an event of some such. When my mum asked if I wanted a party for my 18th I said no but now thinking about it, if it was to do with the Beatles then maybe I’m tempted.
I don’t really want a party where everything is themed like people come dressed as Beatles and we have banners and so on… I just think that’s a bit boring. As I’m a boy, boys don’t just stand around and talk we need to do something to keep us entertained. E.g. whenever I have friends round we always opt for playing on the Xbox/Wii as these games are a good medium to get us all laughing and having a good time.
I have Beatles Rock band with all the replica Beatles guitars + Ringo’s drums and I absolutely love playing them and belting out their songs and acting like Paul with all his mannerisms and imaging I’m on stage playing to thousands of screaming fans. It would be a dream to perform Beatles songs on stage for me. I can play guitar but not to performing standards yet.
What I’m trying to get at here is that I would love to perform Beatles Rock Band but somehow I would like to incorporate that into a party. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain what I want.
Any way if you have understood any of my ramblings and have any ideas what I could do for my 18th, let me know.

i’m stuck with what to buy for my boyfriends birthday. I have got him lots of different things before CDs, a wallet, a guitar, mp3 player, xbox games, gadgets, funny things, romantic things, tshirts, chocolate, pretzels lol. i’m stuck right now for what to get him this year, I paint and i painted a picture for him.
he doesn’t like any type of jewellery, i was thinking of getting him lego star wars but he got it for himself lol.
he is going to get a motorbike but i cant think of anything to buy him that would be safe.

hi, my fiance has always been massively into music and having been out of college for a year he wants to go on to University to study music.
he is a percussionist, grade 8 drum kit, going for his grade 8 in tuned percussion now.
i just want to know what the chances are of him getting a good musical career. he thinks it’s going to be really easy to get a good job straight away, whereas i am more sceptical of this.
he is very talented at fixing computers and gaming consoles and i think he’d be better of going into that, or even music technology.
please help.

it’s for this abstract drama piece i’m doing – in the piece, a guy’s best friend dies and the guy feels in constant pain afterwards and starts blaming other people for his best friend’s death. in the end though, he learns how to accept everything and he sort of “turns over a new leaf” and starts his life all over again.
it needs to be calm…i.e. no roaring guitars and drum kit…i’ve considered using My Immortal by Evanescence but my exposure to music isnt’ that great so…..a little help, please?

Me and a few friends thought up a good prank for my youth pastor but it’s not perfect we need a good and LEGAL way to end the prank.
First I’ll tell you about my pastor, he loves superman he plays guitar for the church and he loves to get a laugh from pranks.
Now for the prank we already have, we decided that because he leaves his keys to his car in his office we are going to get a bunch of batman stuff like balloons, seat covers, and anything else we can find at the store and put it in his car when he leads worship on Sunday or on Wednesday night at youth. Then we were going to get this really nerdy kid to hack his computer so that when he turns it on the startup sound will be gunshots or something and then we are gonna take a picture of his desktop with all the icons in it and then have the nerd put all of the icons behind the picture so when he clicks on stuff it won’t work and well have cameras in his office and at his car but we need some better things to do that are cheap and LEGAL

I heard it on classic rock FM during the week at about 4am, I was a bit wasted and didn’t catch the name of the artist, it sounded like either Joe Cocker or Tom Jones singing, it was slow and bluesy for the first bit (I think) but the end built up an got rock-y and all I remember from the lyrics were:

. What I want to know is, what should I be doing now, what songs bands etc are harder but not to hard if you know what I mean that I can’t play them. I play with a pick and fingers, depending on what the song requires. No slap please

Guitar Scales: Guiatar Soloing And Improvisation?

Hi,
I’m fine with guitar rhythm playing, but I want to get much better at lead. I get a little of the theory, like I understand that obviously if the song is in A, then there are two minor pentonic scales you can play over it in a solo, one before, and one after the 12fth fret. it’s just that when you listen to other solos and impro, it sounds like the players are using a much larger number of notes than just up and down on a minor. Are there any other scales I need to know about, or any theory that I’m missing? Lets assume for this question that the music is in A, will any other scales work? Does anything work apart from the A minor?
